"Past Utopians designed in the most ideal vision, without challenge in life, the perfection living dazed the society. The conjunction between society and politics are living in the mutual jeopardy of today's architecture. Inevitably without politics, without war, without dissension, there would be no ambition, without ambition, architecture will just be a soulless void in the history."
Abstract
Future of the architecture is unforgiving. These series of documentation is aim to open the discussion about the “Death of the Architecture” , by meaning of death, is not meaning the doomsday of the architecture, but the melancholy aspect of the architecture that reflects on today's and future the society. Asking the question what is the meaning of the “Death” why architecture dies out, why architecture suffers from depression by today’s society?
On my undergrad theses, I proposed a project that is program of “Stadium for protest”, which is targeting today’s unbalanced society that offer the platform for the weaker part of the society. Is Architect role as a society balancer or an inventor? And questioning where architecture stands? Do architecture itself have the right to choose the side? Is the measurement of architecture able to withstand on the scale? Is it even measurable? The birth of a building is equivalent to the birth of a child, what are the propose of life (itself).
To state my stands, I believe the future of architecture and society is going to dark, ruthless, and unforgiving. The reason these are documented is because I would like to transfer personal stigma into words. Sometimes could be personal observation, there may be a lot of question being ask, but there could be no answer or just simply mumbling.

Weaponized Architecture
In responded to current political situation in United States, Trump administration demanding building the walls between United States and Mexico. This relatively goes with my undergrad thesis. Back in 2014-2015, the world is in chaos, 2014 Ukrainian revolution, 2014 Hong Kong umbrella movement, 2014 Israel – Gaza conflict (was traveling there during the conflict) and the police brutality mass protest took place in various states in US, all of these movement are disabling the public spaces, by occupying them with tents, destruction and self-formed re-inhabitation during the protest places, this which intrigued the thesis, a stadium for protest, the new whole new typology of “Weaponized Architecture.
And here we are in 2019; President Trump is repeating the history of Berlin wall (Deconstructed), Israel – Palestine wall (On going). What does the wall mean? Indeed is separating the two colonial and illegal immigrants, but consider the wall is a type of colonial building / infrastructure however it is a dilemma for the user. The wall is the emotionless divider, there is no end to this, is superficial and phony but at the same time is a political symbolism.
“Nowadays feeling alone fills me with appalling anguish; being alone at home, by the fire, in the evening. It seems to me then that I’m alone on the earth dreadfully alone, but surrounded by indeterminate dangers, by unknown, terrible things, and the wall, which divides me from my neighbor, whom I do not know, separates me from her by as great a distance as that which separates me from stars I see through my window. A kind of fever comes over me, a fever of pain and fear, and the silence of the walls terrifies me. It is so profound, so sad, the silence of the room in which you live alone. It isn’t just a silence of the body, but a silence of the soul, and, when a piece of furniture creaks, a shiver runs through your whole body, for in that dismal place you expect to hear no sound.” -Guy de Maupassant 1850-1893; Bel-Ami
We must construct the failing system; and deconstruct the succeeding system.
Why can’t we understand more dimension? If emotion can travel through times, than how about architecture’s emotion? Architecture should sense and respond to the current political situation.

Not Everything Is Dead.
While observing today’s architecture industry, it seems like there is a division of left wing and right wing. The left wing tends to be more sustainable peacemaking, with the agenda of being polite and the idea of “Building for Everyone”. Being that said the right wing is focusing on the notion of building technology, in other worlds, none existent context. This is what has come down to in the today’s architecture industry.
However the politics is required to involve in architecture. It is important both party go parallel to each other in order to allow each party’s void to grow. When the time comes, the natural selection will involve, the natural represent the ongoing state of social capacity statues. The party who leads will change the public living methods, the party that lost will decay. The guests of the decaying voids are meant to rebuild with frenzy, with the pragmatic raw materials, hacking the existing system puzzling together to form a “Weaponized Architecture” (this topic will be future discuss in the near future) to resist the society. Decayed architecture is inevitable, and it required its existence to balance the society.
